Forestry Mulchers are typically found as an attachment to a skid steer or compact track loader. A majority of Mulchers are high flow attachments for your skid steer set up. But depending on the land clearing capabilities needed you are able to find large industrial wheeled tractors with large land clearing/mulching capabilities for site prep work. You will also find larger skid steers manufactured for mulching to work through rougher terrain. Excavators also utilize the Mulcher attachment. Top names are Fecon, Prinoth and Barko.

FAE is expanding its range of forestry mulchers for excavators with the introduction of the new UMM/S/EX model for excavators up to 40 tons; particularly for feller bunchers.
FAE technology is now available for powerpack vehicles and wheeled excavators from 10 tons to 15 tons with the introduction of the new RQL/HY forestry mulcher.
