John Deere announced steps designed to strengthen its United States manufacturing operations and continue positioning the company for long-term growth.
The changes reaffirm Deere's commitment to United States manufacturing by aligning production capacity with regional customer demand and advanced manufacturing capabilities. By concentrating investments in modern, high-use facilities, Deere intends to preserve and expand critical manufacturing capabilities, enhance competitiveness, support American manufacturing jobs and maintain its ability to invest through business cycles while continuing to serve customers well into the future.
As markets, technologies, and customer expectations evolve, John Deere continually evaluates its manufacturing footprint to ensure it is well-positioned to serve customers and compete globally. That work includes streamlining operations, expanding capacity where it creates the most value, advancing automation and modern manufacturing technologies, and leveraging strategic sourcing to improve flexibility and cost competitiveness.
